Issues Relating to the Apprehension of Children by the State

Siege of Shirley Street: Public inquiry needed

Full Story

They sound like a chilling legacy from the bad old days of the Soviet Union — secret courts that have taken thousands of children from their families and put them into foster homes or farmed them out for adoption.

There can be no appeal nor legal redress for most traumatised families. Lone judges, sitting without a jury, sever loved ones from each other on the word of omniscient medical “experts”. Any parent foolhardy enough to protest to the press risks dire penalties....

  • Big Sister Is Watching!

An epidemic of state-sponsored kidnapping feeds a tyrannical system hungry for revenues.  Child Protective Services and Children's Aid Societies systematically and increasingly often rob children from their parents.  Kafkaesque chicaneries that the targeted families find impossible to comply with are the tools used to keep the revenues rolling in.  Many families don't survive the ordeals that they are being subjected to by any given CPS or CAS.

  • Government - A better Parent?

Surely, if "all men batter their wives", and mothers are not capable to provide good care for their children all by themselves, the Government can do a better job of providing loving care for our children — well, think again!

When children wind up in the care of the government, nothing much in the way of a good outcome can be expected.

About 40 percent of these children put into out-of-home care facilities never return to their parents. More than half will be away for at least one year and the majority will have multiple placements, some in as many as 15 different homes. "The trauma and the damage and the incredible harm comes when the child is taken away from their home," Scott says. "They suffer what we call a 'kidnap syndrome.'"

Oregon Offices for Services to Children and Families (SCF) apprehends the children of a family, using police-state tactics, and thereby initiates the complete destruction of the family of those children.

  • VOCAL ( Victims of Child Abuse Laws) Vocal is a large organization that has chapters in a number of states.

Caution: You may have to download and install a plug-in (about 3.6 MB) to be able to have the web page of Vocal displayed properly. If you are instructed to download the plug-in, do it, or else you won't be able to use the site.

Vocal came into existence on account of parents who went through experiences such as yours, resulting from false abuse allegations that, in turn, gave the government an excuse to apprehend those parents' children.

"VOCAL is a good place to meet people who have been falsely accused of molesting their children. Almost everyone I met in VOCAL was charged with molesting their children shortly after they separated from their wife."

That list is far from exhaustive.  The links shown here are provided to give you a start for finding resources and help.
